"Highly recommend this office. Laura & Parker are accurate, polite and respond so quickly. You won't find better customer service! Jim has his staff send friendly text reminders for things l've missed to avoid any messes. I shopped around with Farmers, USAA and a couple others before I came to Jim's office. State Farm was by far the lowest rate out of those. And, I still get a cream of the crop company as far as customer service and claim handling. I didn't even reach out to Progressive or Geico because I'm not dealing with calling and getting some robot phone service or not having access to a local office that I can walk into for immediate service. I'm so confident with their service and rates that I have no problem referring them to friends and family!"

"Increased my premium by 80 a month. Told me it was just the rate of the renewal and there was nothing they could do. Canceled my account effective immediately. They still charged me the 235. I called they issues a refund request. A week later, I get a notification they are only giving me 188 back. I call again. They refuse to make it right. Don't use them unless you like having money stolen"
"State Farm did raise your rate by $25/month. Part of this was due to an address change. When you came in and canceled your policies, Laura immediately requested a refund of the payment you made on the 15th. State Farm denied that refund. The refund of $188.56 is the correct amount. I double checked this amount. Your coverage period and auto-draft date are different. Glad you received that promptly. We offered to reinstate the DSS discount and make other changes to attempt to offset the increase. State Farm sets rates. We do not have a say. We hate to see you leave. "

My parents have been using his office even longer than we have which is why we chose to trust our home, personal vehicles and business vehicles with their policies. We haven't ever had any problems getting ahold of anyone in the office, and can even get through to speak/meet with Jim in person. They're willing to answer any questions we may have regarding personal and business needs and always look our for our best interest. "Please do not go with this agency they made a mistake that is going to cost me $$$$$. My wife called and made some changes to all of our vehicles and they only changed 1 of them!!!!! They make a mistake and my wife and I are paying the price. We have been long time customers with Jim and State Farm. Sorry to say we will be canceling all of our policies, but that is the culture today for business get all you can from a customer but when it counts leave them hung out to dry."
"When balancing price for a youthful operator, with an at fault loss on their record, and the risk being a 15 year old car, you chose to self-insure for collision coverage. I wish the youthful operator would have not had this second at fault accident!!!! We were able to produce a document showing the coverages you selected. Your household was unable to produce anything supporting the idea we made an error. I cannot misrepresent facts to the company. You will be missed! "

"I was with Jim Vanderveen for years and never had a problem, I admit a time or two I may have been a few days late to pay, pay it no problem back on track. I'm not sure who this Laura person is but she has cost Jim a loyal customer. I've never been talked to the way I had until I encountered Laura. Laura created the problem, and when I was trying to correct it, she became the victim, hung up in my face and refused to speak to me. Laura then Invited Parker who has been nothing but nice, Parker mapped out a resolution, I followed the instructions, until I encountered Laura who refused to take my payment because she states there was nothing due, 4 days later, I get a huge bill. At this point neither Laura or Parker was willing to help me. I requested to speak with Jim, Jim immediately started agreeing with his team disregarding why this mistake has happened, he never acknowledge the fact this wouldnt have happened if Laura would have just took my payment. I explained to Jim that I no longer felt valued as one of his Loyal customer and there was no accountability on their end. I was speechless. I'm saddened, my feelings are hurt. I pray no one else has to deal with this Laura person."
"Laura told you correctly no amount was owed as State Farm rolled your past due amount into the next month. This was your only interaction with Laura. You know how to pay your bill online. You had no right to use horrible language with everyone in the office! It is just a monthly bill you are ideally supposed to pay each month. Every month we patiently attempt to keep you current. Our notes are extensive. Why the chaos? Had I known that you lit up my service team with expletive laced tirades every month, we would have transferred you to another agent's office. The fact you stayed with us for 3 years speaks volumes of our efforts to treat people with dignity and respect. Please call Cox, OG&E and PSO, each and every month to discuss your bill and due date. Try using vulgar and hateful language and see how far your get with their chatbots! "
